Membership to Monocacy Pistol Club, Frederick MD
The Monocacy Pistol Club is a private organization. Our membership is fixed at 260 members. If you are interested in joining, we suggest that you observe some of our matches and get to know our members. Once you get to know some of our members, one of them will likely endorse your application for membership. New members are accepted as membership slots become available.
Membership requirements are as follows:
- A financial commitment including annual dues and an initiation fee.
- Members are required to assist in maintaining the club through at least four hours of volunteer labor, such as cutting the grass, calling matches, printing the newsletter, etc.
- Members are required to attend at least one membership meeting and club match per year.
- Members are also required to maintain an active NRA membership.
The benefits of membership include:
- Unlimited access to our range during normal hours of operation,
- Meeting a great bunch of people.
- Attending a fantastic annual awards dinner.
Those interested in membership are welcome to come and observe one of our regularly scheduled matches to see what we are all about. Please bring proper hearing and eye protection. We promote safe gun handling, friendly competition and skills enhancement in an safe and encouraging environment.
